This was developed to help social workers, counselors, clergy and religious leaders work more effectively with premarital and married couples.
It is designed to assist counselors and couples in focusing objectively on critical relationship issues. The workshop will train you on how to properly use the PREPARE/ ENRICH Programme with couples. You will learn how to administer and interpret the couple inventories and give feedback to couples using the six couple exercises.
Each inventory is intended to assess areas in which relationships need to grow and strengths that will enable them to progress in a positive direction.
The PREPARE/ENRICH Programme
The PREPARE/ENRICH program is scientifically developed based on more than a decade of research by Dr David H Olson and colleagues at the University of Minnesota.
The program is designed to assist Counsellors in working with premarital or married couples.
Clergy and Professional Counsellors attend a day long seminar to learn how to use the program more effectively with couples.
The inventories are comprehensive, diagnostically valuable and designed to generate a meaningful dialogue between the counselor and the couple.
The PREPARE/ENRICH inventories have been scientifically developed to have high levels of reliability, validity and clinical utility.
