Allianz Associates (S) Pte Ltd provides a range of higher education programs in management, marketing, and computing and health and social sciences (psychology, counselling, etc).

As the Authorised Training Centre (ATC) of IPMA--a UK qualifying body the provides opportunities for individuals to be examined to earn one or more of our Professional Awards that will ultimately lead them to the licensing stage as Certified International Professional Manager (CIPM).

We offer, to the aspiring individuals, the opportunity to start with these IPMA Qualifying Diplomas:

The Diplomas are designed to provide the basic framework for understanding and applying the various skills and knowledge required by any individual working at administrative levels.

Advancing from the Diplomas: Towards Advanced Diplomas and Professional Levels
Those who complete the Diplomas can proceed to Advanced Diplomas and Professional Levels--Graduate Diplomas and Post-Graduate Diplomas (see Table 1).

Those who complete any of the Diplomas can proceed to Bachelors, Post-Graduate, Masters, and Doctorate degrees. Details on these programs are in another brochure.

Professional Qualifying Programme
Upon completion of any of the Diplomas, and subsequently the Advanced Diplomas, Graduate Diplomas, and Post-Graduate Diplomas in Management, Marketing, or Computing, individuals can undertake the Professional Qualifying Programme

The International Professional Managers Association has developed a Post Experience Professional Qualifying Programme to meet the needs of Chief Executives, Directors and top level Executives working in both Public and Private sector entreprises. This Post Experience Professional Qualifying programme has been carefully designed to enable participants to play a significant role in the development of their countries in today's globalised market, a knowledge based economy and a growing e-economy.

This Post Experience Professional Qualifying Programme will allow experienced Chief Executives, Executive Directors, General Managers, Senior Managers, Head of Departments, Practicing Managers and Professionals from various disciplines and self motivated MBA degree holders to attain, through rigorous study and examination, the qualification of Certified International Professional Manager.(CIPM) This programme will enhance their Professional competence, prestige and personal career enhancement within the globalised environment of today.

The Post Experience Professional Qualifying Programme draws upon the most essential components of our Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate and Post - Graduate Diploma in Management. Details of the programme are in the last page of this prospectus.

Advancing from the Diplomas: Towards Higher Academic Qualifications
Alternatively, those who complete the Diplomas can proceed to various Bachelors, Post-Graduate and other related degrees. Some programs are mentioned in Table 1 under the panels for Psychology and Counselling but speak to our education officer for a complete listing.

With the UK-accredited Diploma, individuals can apply to various institutes and universities to further their education. Such transfers are done on the basis of individual merit (how well you did in the program) and area of study (what content you studied). We do have affiliations with these institutes and universities.

Australian College of Applied Psychology, Sydney, Australia
Holders of our diplomas can proceed to degree programs in Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences (BASS; this is a general degree with covering in areas of management, counselling, and human resource management) or BASS in Counselling. The degree programs are unique as 400 hours of fieldwork is required, hence allowing your fieldwork experience be part of a dossier for prospective employers. The "chicken-and-egg" problem of not having working experience is minimised.

 

Program Structure of the Diplomas
The Diplomas are conducted in a modular basis, one module followed by the next.

Classes
In general, individuals attend five sessions per module per month. For psychology and counselling diplomas, a few modules are eight sessions per two months. Evening programme is 6:30-9:30 pm and or Day program is 2:00-5:00 pm.

Assessment Methods
In general, individuals are assessed by a 3-hr written examination. For psychology and counselling diplomas, individuals are assessed by written examinations, assignments, projects, or fieldwork placements.

Grade Scale
A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, D, and F correspond to 4.0, 3.75, 3.5, 3, 2.75, 2.5, 2, 1, and 0 grade point. In addition to the certificate, individuals will receive an original copy of transcript that provides the modules taken, credit hours assigned, grade point average, and a cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

Condition for a Pass
To be awarded the Diploma, individuals must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 out of a possible 4.0. Individuals who failed a module exam can sit for the retake exam, at additional fees, and receive the standard 2.0 grade point for a pass. However, in any other situations of retake, the higher grade point is selected.

A CGPA of 3.5 and higher represents Honours.
A CGPA of 3.80 and higher is High Honours.

Recognition
Individuals who successfully complete program will be awarded the Diploma and are entitled to use the designatory title Dip Mgt/Marketing/Management/Psychology/Counselling after their names.

Admission Requirements
Applicants who completed secondary school or are adults with working experience.
All individuals, regardless of English proficiency, must attend the Writing Skills workshop.

e-Library
Once registered, individuals will be provided a password to access the E-library. Emerald is an electronic Management Research Library Database, which includes resources of a management library available to all IPMA-registered individuals.
